Through the IGA Community Chest program, stores determine where the funds will be donated.
The funds will support local communities, charities and other worthwhile causes.

A convoy of trucks delivered over 500,000 litres of water and hampers to drought stricken areas. We also donated Community Co products from Carlo’s IGA Plus Liquor Coonabaraban and IGA Gift cards via the IGA Drought Appeal.
The team at IGA Loganholme has helped raised valuable funds to support their local childcare centres state primary schools and Breast Cancer Research.
Nhill SUPA IGA donated $3,500 to local education providers, with the presentation of the giant cheque to children who will be using the Nhill Early Years Centre (NEYC) in the near future.
The amazing team at Your Dream School Programs has been set up with the vision of helping young people live their dreams! To help give back we donated Community Co products for hundreds of gift hampers that were delivered to schools to help families in Australia celebrate a special Christmas.
IGA retailers from Victoria, together contributed $20,000 to Anxiety Disorders Association of Victoria. ADAVIC is a local community based organisation that provides support for people suffering from anxiety, depression and related issues.
Fairley’s IGA Eaglehawk awarded their local CFA organisations cheques to show support for the community.
The CFAÂ is a volunteer and community based fire and emergency services organisation. They help protect over 3.3 million Victorians.
Landsborough IGA contributed funds to the Landsborough State School through the Community Chest Program.
Landsborough IGA donated an entire of pallet of Community Co water to their local Fire Fighter volunteers.
For the past 3 years the IGA QLD teams have supported campaigns raising funds for Guide Dogs QLD. GDQ empower people with vision loss to find the solutions that will make the biggest differences to achieve independence, participation, inclusion and wellbeing.
IGA Victoria is a major sponsor of this event. The team creates goodie bags to give away to all participants on the day with healthy products, organise fresh fruit donation and organise a sausage sizzle with all proceeds going to the centre.
Taylor Road IGA donated $2,400 to Dalkeith Primary School to purchase Intensive Teaching Desks.
Spano’s SUPA IGA Stanthorpe donated 13,000 Litres of Community Co. water to help with drought relief in QLD.
Lameroo IGA donated funds to support Sam & David Morris who participated in the Aussie Muscle Car Run in SA. The AMCR events has helped provide families facing blood cancer with the special care they need to make it through every uncertain moment that follows a diagnosis.
Khan’s Group has helped to support the Royal Flying Doctor service by purchasing two neonatal transplant pods to ensure sick or at-risk babies can be safely transported by the Flying Doctor Service.
Community Co proudly supports and sponsors Youth Inc. Golf days. Youth Inc is a not-for-profit education organisation in Adelaide that provides strength-based learning and employment opportunities to young people struggling to get into the workforce.
